I put a net around my peach tree as we have a lot of deer in the neighbourhood, but it didn't help much. I miss the supply of fruit from your Dad's garden - my favourite combo was Cherry/Raspberry.<br />Happy Moving!Betty G.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315531562648653492.post-70959153336945979842012-08-29T06:26:42.249-07:002012-08-29T06:26:42.249-07:00The jam looks delicious! The jam looks delicious!Cate O'Malleyhttp://www.sweetnicks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315531562648653492.post-77450172926864143452012-08-28T09:11:11.105-07:002012-08-28T09:11:11.105-07:00Those sound like fabulous suggestions, Karen, and ...Those sound like fabulous suggestions, Karen, and I have no doubt that I will do both within my first week in Edmonton! I hope you do too. On the first Saturday that you can, go down to the City Market on Jasper Ave & 104 St. to pick up amazing local veg & fruit carted in from the Okanagan, to get your taste of BC! Be sure to check out Duchess when you're craving European bakery treats. We're in Calgary now, otherwise I'd take you myself! Good luck with the move! We have a tree overflowing with wonderful sour cherries and I make gallons of juice and preserves from it.
